Poster Guidance

An IT Helpdesk ticket is required if you would like to print the poster at NIH (no direct emails/phone calls/walk-ins with NIMH IT staff are allowed). A poster will not be printed without the submittal of an IT ticket.

  • Please submit an IT Helpdesk ticket at https://itservicedesk.nih.gov/, noting your building location and attaching your poster (PowerPoint or PDF format only) that needs printing (NOTE: if the poster file size is too large, NIMH IT Staff will contact you to schedule a time for you to bring the poster to them on a USB drive).
  • One side of the poster must be 42 inches or less due to paper size limitation, the other side must be 48 inches or less.
  • Any required poster corrections/resizing must be completed at your computer.
  • Corrections/resizing may NOT be completed at the IT staff member's desk on their computers.
  • NIMH IT staff will contact you once the poster is ready for pick up and will note the location on campus for you to pick the poster up.
  • IT Helpdesk tickets must be submitted no later than Monday, April 2nd. NO requests will be accepted beyond this date.
  • Please be patient with the printing process as limited resources are available for this effort. We will do all we can to get your poster printed in time, but we ask for your patience in advance.

Alternatively, you may contact the NIH Office of Medical Arts to have your poster printed. Please visit the following link in order to make your request directly with their office: https://www.ors.od.nih.gov/mab/Pages/default.aspx.
